1. Introduction
Welcome to Blynk. “Blynk” is the application name for the business legally registered and managed by Talel Rjiba under the status of Auto-Entrepreneur in Tunisia. This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, retain, and delete data when you use the Blynk website, customer portal, admin tools, Meta integrations, AI automation, human handoffs, support tickets, payments, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process data only as needed to provide and operate Blynk.
Account, authentication, and access data
We process account information such as your email address, name if provided, user ID, authentication/session identifiers, business access permissions, and admin role information where applicable. This data is used to sign you in, protect tenant-specific portal data, and enforce business or admin access permissions.
Business, onboarding, and configuration data
We process information you provide during onboarding or portal use, including business name, owner/contact details, selected plan, billing cycle, business portfolio/page identifiers, onboarding status, preferences, preferred tone and languages, greetings, sales/support style, escalation preferences, catalogue entries, custom catalogue fields, prompt profiles, and admin review notes.
Payment and subscription data
We store payment and subscription records such as checkout IDs, selected plan, billing cycle, amount, currency, payment status, payment provider reference, subscription dates, and reconciliation status. Card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by Blynk.
Discount, coupon, and referral data
When you use or receive coupons, discounts, referral codes, or referral rewards, we process the coupon or referral code, eligibility checks, selected plan and billing cycle, calculated discount amount, expiry and redemption status, referral relationship between the referrer and referred account, reward balance, exchange requests, fulfilled coupon codes, and related anti-abuse or audit records. We use this data to apply discounts, prevent fraud or duplicate/self-referrals, enforce redemption limits, answer support questions, and keep accounting and audit records.
Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and conversation data
When you connect Meta assets, we may process page IDs, page names, Instagram account identifiers, page access tokens, sender/customer IDs, customer display names where available, message content, timestamps, platform source, conversation state, delivery/reply metadata, confirmed orders, and operational analytics needed to run automation and show insights.
AI automation and human handoff data
We process conversation content to generate AI-assisted replies, detect when a human handoff may be needed, pause automation where appropriate, and display handoff records to the connected business. Handoff records may include customer display name or identifier, platform, latest customer message, transcript excerpts, status, priority, AI pause/resume state, reply events, and operational notes. Admin users may view handoff information for support, troubleshooting, compliance, and service operations.
Support ticket data
If you create or respond to a support ticket, we store the ticket type, subject, description, status, priority, messages, replies, internal support notes where applicable, and related business or onboarding context.
Technical, security, and operational logs
We do not use IP address, browser, or device information for advertising or behavioral tracking. However, limited technical data such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps, error details, security events, and rate-limit events may be processed temporarily in server, infrastructure, security, or troubleshooting logs.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to operate Blynk and protect customers, businesses, and connected channels. This includes:
- creating and securing customer/admin accounts and sessions
- processing onboarding, payments, subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, and plan limits
- Operate coupon, discount, referral, and reward programs, including eligibility checks, fraud prevention, reward exchange requests, and redemption-limit enforcement
- connecting and operating Facebook/Instagram messaging automation through Meta APIs
- generating AI-assisted replies and applying business-specific prompt preferences
- detecting escalation scenarios, creating human handoffs, pausing/resuming AI, and enabling eligible businesses to reply from Blynk
- showing dashboards, usage, performance, orders, catalogue data, tickets, and operational history
- supporting customers, troubleshooting errors, enforcing tenant boundaries, preventing abuse, and maintaining security
4. AI Processing and Human Review
Blynk uses AI-assisted systems and workflow automation to help respond to customer messages. AI output is not used by Blynk to train public AI models. Human handoff features allow automation to pause and allow the connected business to review escalated conversations. Some plans can reply directly from Blynk, while other plans may view handoffs in Blynk and reply from Facebook or Instagram.
5. Service Providers and Integrations
We may use trusted service providers for authentication, payments, email delivery, hosting, databases, backups, security, workflow automation, Meta API connectivity, and AI response generation. These providers process data only as needed to provide Blynk functionality. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Security and Access Controls
Blynk uses private hosting, database access controls, tenant-scoped API checks, role-based admin access, protected environment configuration, secure deployment practices, and operational monitoring. Admin access is limited to onboarding, support, troubleshooting, compliance, and service operations.
7. Data Retention
During an active subscription, operational data remains available as needed to provide the portal, automation, analytics, support, and connected-channel functionality. After a subscription expires or is cancelled, operational Meta/conversation/business data is scheduled for deletion after a one (1) week grace period so businesses can renew without losing historical setup and insights. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, audit, or compliance purposes. Deleted data may remain in backups until normal backup rotation completes.
8. Your Data Rights
In alignment with Tunisian data protection laws and GDPR principles where applicable, you may request to:
- access data linked to your account or business
- correct inaccurate data
- delete eligible data
- restrict or object to certain processing
- request a portable copy of eligible data
- remove the Blynk app/integration from your Meta account or ask us to disconnect stored tokens
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session security, language preference, and portal functionality. We do not use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies without consent.
